The 2024 NZISA New Zealand Indian Hockey Championship is coming up on Saturday 1st to Monday 3rd June in North Harbour!
The return to the summit is over a week away! This year, the 16 blokes tasked with capturing the Dhyan hand Trophy are under the leadership of a new captain, Mitesh Patel. Mitesh will don the armband and lead the men into battle.
Armanjot, his Vice Captain, has been setting the hockey world alight since last year's King's Birthday Tournament and will serve as a strong and influential leader on the turf. The squad has a few new faces this year, with Raj Bhana and Kailesh Leatham adding their experience, and Manwinder Nagra adding his youth and flair in his CD debut.
Nevertheless, the team still carries the strong Central District legacy, and with supporters on the sideline, who are easily the loudest, proudest, and most fun, the journey over the Harbour Bridge to challenge for the DC promises to be a belter.
